Toasted Soya Bean Flour


Soy beans are first lightly toasted and then ground to create Kinako Powder. The resulting product has a slightly nutty, sweet taste with an underlying malted flavour. Often used in Japanese cooking (especially desserts) it can be simply dusted onto vanilla ice cream or used to sweeten Mochi. As it gains popularity in the UK its versatility means we are increasingly seeing it used a simple garnish to a multitude of puddings and blended into smoothies/breakfast bowls.

Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions in original, unopened containers. Securely reseal containers after opening.
